Living in Royalton, it isn’t easy to find a bottle of Soy Sauce, since Soy Sauce is an insisted upon ingredient for a perfect steak marinade I drove to downtown Little Falls in pursuit of the stated ingredient. When I arrived Parker’s Food Pride’s building was slathered with signs that read “Everything 50% off”.Having heard no rumors of Parker’s closing up shop I assumed that it must be an inventory reduction sale but when I entered the store the shelves were almost bare.
Anyone having information as to whether or not Parker’s is closing please add a comment fill the rest of us in.

Sad but true…
From the Morrison County Record…
Sorry the store is closing
To the Editor:
Our downtown Little Falls grocery store is closing its doors this week. On behalf of all the folks who shopped there on a regular basis, know that we shall really miss them. The older generation living across the street from the grocery store will especially be affected-as transportation will be an issue for shopping in the future. We shall miss the convenience and the friendly personnel.
Thank you so much Mike, Brent and Mike Parker Jr. and staff for your full service business. It’s too bad you were unable to remain in business.-Kathy Braud, Little Falls

I must have been snoozing to have missed that, thanks for posting it. My very first thought was about the number of senior citizens I see shopping there. I’m sure going to miss them.
